I'm with a group of AC owners in Spain and yesterday at Limpias ( village in the North) two of them went for a walk and were sitting on a park bench having a chat. Elderly Spanish chap comes along and says - are you English - they fall to chatting and he produces an AC keyring - turns out he worked at the factory at Thames Ditton 1964-76. What are the chances of that?

What weird coincidences have you had?

At a conference dinner in Phoenix two years ago. The organising company asked everyone to split up and sit with people they didnt know.
Table of 4 and we start the small talk which quickly turns to cars when the American infront of me says " well I've got a car you wont have heard of, its a TVR.

Ha, we bored the other two silly.

Funny that. On this tour is a guy who buys and sells ACs Told me that for years he'd been looking out for the Spotty Smith TVR Tuscan - didn't know where it was or when it would turn up. I let him work himself into a lather about it - and told him it's been in my mate's garage these 20 years!!
