Houston we have a problem !
Discussion
After renewing the copper brake lines with cupronickel ones as part of the body off project , I filled the brake fluid reservoir up, only to find it leaked straight out of the male joints going in to the bulkhead and the male joints going in to the rear T piece.
So I tightened them as much as I could (so much so they started to round at the edges), pumped the pedal a few times, and all the male joints have leaked again.
I’m not sure how to fix this.
The only thing I can think of it that the flare I have made in the copper pipes isn’t big enough, so not sealing properly.
The female ends were renued with new M10 fittings, the male fittings wernt M10 so i reused the old ones as they were in perfect condition.
The problem is the car is all back together so I now don’t have the access to get a flaring tool on the pipe ends (even if I managed to bend them out of the way).
Any suggestions ?

Did you use a proper flaring tool or one of those cheap jobbies of ebay. My flaring tool only does two flares a double and single. the single flair is like a round bubble, the double is concave, basically a single pressed back on its self. Maybe if you have used a cheap tool the flare isnt perfect. A difficult one now the body is back on, but somehow you are going to have to make new pipes.
I have made new pipes on mine and must admitt i have my fingers crossed that they seal. I have just got the body back on so time will tell.
