Tool to torque down head

I am in the process of stripping off the heads to trace excess pressure problem in water system I can see that I will need some form of special tool / tools when it comes to building back up and torquing down heads, would anyone be able lend me the required parts (have torque wrench)I will of course be pleased to cover any postage / other costs.

What tool's do you need exactly? I may be able to help if you have some pictures of what is needed ? Is it spline head studs?

Forgot to say i have a AJP8 engine manual as well if you want a look at that too.

Scott,
The nuts and so on are just your ordinary sized heads its the angle that they sit at and the access around them that you can't get to with your average tool kit. I have seem a few versions of tooling that some of the guys have made up or adapted over the years, what I'm after is feeding off some clever bug*er who's made one up that works already.

What you need is some crows foot spanners.

Or you can make your own. Get some crank headed spanners, cut in half and weld a socket on the end.

What size are the nuts metric or imperial? i may have a crows foot to fit. Wont be able to help you till next week as still at work.

Off the top of my head, I think they are 14mm and the front one is 13mm. Completely off the top of my head though.

Presumably you need to use different torque settings with the crows feet?

The large head bolts are 15mm. We cut a socket in half, welded the top to one side of a 2" flat bar and welded the other end to the other side. Job done!

I bought a set a while back not even had a use for them yet metric from 10mm-19mm I sent you a PM not a problem.
