Trying to sort an oil leak under the 3000M and noticed that the cover plate in front of the flywheel is missing.

Wondered if anyone had a spare they'd be willing to sell or even a spare I could borrow as a pattern to make one up?

Thanks,
Gary

Gary do you know if there definately is one - because the rear of the sump effectively sits slightly inside the bell housing on your car (and I assume on all M's) - so it wouldn't be a straightforward flat plate if its missing.

Chris - was basing my assumption on the info on the M-fix site - see picture 2.

Looks like a relatively simple flat plate from the pic - but it is a TVR so anything can happen!

You will find that this a waxed card version on the Essex engine so as to absorb damp and to stop the clutch getting damp ....and then sticking on. Adrian@
