They are ice racers in the Trophee Andros, a lot more entertaining on the ice I must say.

Thought it was rather good. Been watching them on the trophy andros during the winter and they are better on proper tracks its the future. Next we will see electric cars in rallycross, go karts mayby ginetta juniors in 5-10 years time.

I really hope it was just a gimmic. Sorry didn't like it at all. Very little action, a couple of spins and a broken front leg. Riveting stuff!

And no engine noise......that's just plain weird. IMHO obviously.

The racing in all the races were a bit boring pau is not a great track for action. Its not a gimmic it is a real raceing series but they run with the trophy andris witch is ice racing. I believe there is some sort of electric champonship going on in france i believe. The noise reminds me of when i was racing electric rc cars. Its the future.

I really hope you are joking. frown

TBH to me it looked like a bunch of Jonny Cabs racing around. I wouldn't pay to go and watch that. I would rather watch cricket and that's about the most boring thing I can think of watching live.

I'm going to buck the trend here by saying I was actually pleasently suprised... I'm certainly no eco freak but I thought it was certainly more entertaining than the pug spyders... and with a bit of development of the cars and technology it could be excellent

Theres a lot of race series i wouldn't go to pay too see. But electric, hybrid and different power sytems will be used in the future get used to it. It was 1 of the better races of the event better than the 207 spider car that was dull as dish water.

Agreed about the 207 Spider race but No! I'm not going to get used to it.

Im with you i would rather see a race with 30-40 cars with v8, turbos etc but. The future is with alternative energy and electric. It already begun in le mans series some lmp 2 cars are using hybrids, 2 front teams using diesels. F1 using kers, new electric series are poping up i do belive its the future.

With this and the German airport it is amazing how accurate modern model building can be.

Me neither. My Cordless Drill sounds better than those cars.

I think we claimed to have the first hybid race at the Aus GP this year. The celebrity race was in Lexus 200h's... or something like that
