Discounts on AUC Prices?

I know it's as wide as it is long, but what sort of discounts have people managed on the advertised prices?

Different with every car.

Got £3000 off a £35k 520d a couple of months back, got £5000 off a £36k 335i sport touring a couple of years ago and couldn't get BMW Norwich to knock a grand off a £32k 530d GT last week, and that has to be one of the most hated cars BMW have ever made.

Depends what the car owes them and how long they have had it I guess??

got £2850 off a 6 month old Sport Plus Edition 320d touring last month for her indoors. Was already priced sensibly. Phoned a few dealers who had these in stock and the most i could bag was about a grand. Just happened to find the right dealer who obviously either had *more* money in the car to work with, OR, was desperate to move stock
