I hate to break this to you, but car crime takes place in every town in the UK.

Sleep well and don't have nightmares.

Thatd be an interesting one to explain to the insurance company!

I parked it up normally, and when I came back it'd been crashed into a lamp post.

Obviously the LR's stolen.
However if people only think it's Liverpool that has these problems then they have wool over their eyes.
Probably happens in most major cities.
That was obviously outside the city centre so visitors shouldn't really have a problem parking if they park in a decent car park.

Horrible little car, hopefully the insurance payout allows him to get something nicer smile

Of course that's not the point and I have no idea how I would contain myself if anyone touched my car, even if it was a pile of junk.

EDIT: damage of public property as well... can't see this going down well with the local authorities.

Please don't take this as picture of Liverpool as a whole, OK there are a few big rough areas where stuff like this happens, places I wouldn't even drive through. But the majority of Liverpool is pretty nice.
I had one of these scallies knock me off my bicycle intentionally a couple of weeks back by driving into me. was very lucky.

I don't know how urchins like this manage to exist...

First time I went to Anfield in my car I parked it up on a sidestreet. Cue a little scrote appearing "Look after your car for ya mister?"

Me: No, you're alright, it's got an alarm and immobiliser it'll be alright

Scrote: How does the alarm stop it getting scratched?
