RM Villa d'Este auction 2011
Discussion
as also posted on the Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini and Bugatti listing bit I thought here would apply as well!
amongst others, including numerous Ferraris and Alfa Romeos, RM have consigned three very notable Bertone prototype Lamborghinis this evening:
the Athon (eighties no-top bonkers...) sold for €310,000, the Bravo (seventies ultrawedge bonkers and very dribble, dribble...) for €525,000 and the Marzal (just plain bonkers...) for €1,350,000
... not sure what the final sale prices would be including various commissions and taxes but some people have acquired three notable chunks of Lamborghini history today!
The Bertone design for the Chevrolet Testudo, Lancia Sibilo and Stratos HF Zero were also included but I missed the sale prices for those cars though I did note that the 1938 Talbot-Lago T150-C SS Teardrop Coupé sold for in excess of €3,000,000 but a Bizzarrini 5300GT Strada didn't sell despite reaching at least €250,000 at one point ...
