The Official Monaco GP 2011 ***Spoilers***
Discussion
I was there about 3 years ago. Just up from Tabac for Quali and Casino Square for the race. To be honest, it was a fantastic experience to walk the track etc and soak up the atmosphere, but watching the race was dull as you like.
That said, in qualifying I could have nearly tapped the drivers on the head as they went past. We were that close.

From what has been said about the amount of downforce the Red Bulls have from the underbody, I think their wings will be less 'barn door' style than the other teams. This might depend on what happens with the diffuser blown exhausts that Colin 'Omar Babar' Colles was moaning and threatening a complaint about.
Have they said where the DRS zone is yet?
Red Bulls closely followed by McLarens.
Back end of the field numpty crashes causing safety car(s).
Pirelli tyres getting worn to shreds over the race after every 2 laps

It may not be usedEdited to say: If they can't use it in the tunnel, where do they put it? I can't imagine it down the start/finish 'straight'.

Thanks, thats talking about it being banned from use in the tunnel, and that the DRS zone is the start/finish straight. If it can be set to have an active area, surely they can do the opposite and automatically disable it through the tunnel, or is it a case of the drivers don't press the button on that part of the course?

Quali is the one to watch where they can deploy DRS wherever they like....
I may go and put a bet on Massa crashing lol!

Yes as far as I understand it is the start/finish straight......frankly I think have DRS at all in Monaco is crazy.... that first corner following start/finish straight is hardly an easy corner anyway- not going to be any overtaking there with or without DRS.
Nah, but it will allow for the following driver to gain a little of the time lost from following in the wake of another car, which might help them be close enough to overtake elsewhere.foreverdriving]url said:

Or just let them get on with it??? They are supposed to be the pinnacle of motor sport drivers. I don't think DRS in the tunnel is likely to kill anyone.Edited to say: If they can't use it in the tunnel, where do they put it? I can't imagine it down the start/finish 'straight'.
