Drivers Door ECU - I know asked previously but cant find it.

Hi my drivers door ecu seems to have failed, but I cannot find where it is located - it is a mk1 car. I have removed the centre consol and all there seems to be up near where the ashtray is located is the alarm unit. I have also looked in the drivers footwell and no sign of it - I even removed the fuse panel to see if it is located above, but no luck. I looked behond the velcro panel next to the accelerator pedal but that seems to hide a large (engine related?) ecu unit, with no sign of the smaller door ones.

Does anyone have any suggestions / photos of where they are likely to be hidden????

Mine was in the area to the rear of the console. Have you fully removed the console?.
