Well, been to Southernland, set off Friday 2ish and got back an hour ago. Even had a trip out to Brighton yesterday seeing as we were only 18 miles away. Red hot it was too.
Anyway, 856 miles, 33 gallon later and the old bus returned the best part of 26 mpg.
I was hoping on 25 mpg but outdone that enormously
, I thought it was running rich but these figures seem to say not eh!
On a side note, drove down to Brighton marina, I didn't know it was a dead untill I got there, so I stopped beside the cycle track to turn around as a man and 2 kids (12-13 year olds) went past. Then I heard him say to his kids "what a bloody stupid place to park"
When I had turned around I pulled up along side him and suggested he should be showing his kids how to be polite instead of showing them how to slag someone off without knowing the facts.
Suddenly he wasn't as brave and pedalled on silently
