Didn't expect to see Tvr's today at Donnington , there were three I think altogether.

I counted five.

The white one wasn't racing. It's for sale.

Also the red 1800S of Mark Ashworth which won the first race and came second in the second Equipe GTS race behind Begbie.

My mate Chris was a bit upset about the Gp1 result - he lead the race for 36 out of 40 minutes in a 1293 steel bodied Midget before the engine let go. Shouldn't really be in the same class as a 1700 fibreglass car....

Don't know where the info that the Vixen won comes from. Gp1 Swinging Sixties was won by my mates Kev and Martyn in Kev's TR4 with Andy Vowell second in his Spitfire. The Vixen DNF'd after 26 minutes so not sure that it matters the the Midget was in same class - both suffered mechanical problems anyway. It was a great battle with the Triumphs and the Midget while it lasted. I believe the fuel pump was the issue on the TVR according to the guys as they pushed it back into the garage. Strangely my fuel pump also failed at the same meeting in the Grantura but luckily in qualifying so changed it for the race.

Apologies, I'd gone by then and must have mistaken qualifying for the race on TSL, I've corrected it now... I'm pretty sure about the other info as I'm still smiling wink

Looks to be a fair old bit of opposite look on that old thing Paul. Are you sure you weren't re-joining the track after spinning wink

Ha, no Neil just pushing to build a gap to the Vette, changed a few things on the set up and the rear is much more to my liking now but only 2 tenths quicker than October at Donny... 1:21.8 compares well with FIA Griffs though smile

Plenty fuel left this time? hehe
Car looks fabulous Paul.

I am waiting for some shiny bits of ally from AH Fabrication then hopefully not too far away from turning a wheel in anger.
