Just a quick question really. Has anyone had problems with PS2s overheating whilst on track?

I was driving the 'ring last August and the car started to go very loose at the back under accelerating/braking and the front was experiencing more and more understeer. The exact same happened a few weeks ago. (Tyre pressures were adjusted as needed).

On my e90 M3 at Silverstone they would start to melt after a few laps.

You can't keep doing laps on them without cool down time no. I never do more than one at a time on the ring.

Pilot Super Sports are better but the proper R888/Cups and various other options from other manufacturers would be better.

PS2 are one of the better 'normal' road tyres for the track, but will move too much compared to a cup / 888 / 032 / 048 or similar.

FWD focus ST at Silverstone; the CSL does similar...

Thanks for the feed back. Cups have been purchased for the upcoming 'ring trackday.
