Do Cimeara 16" wheels fit the back of an S3???

Hello

As title.. I have read on here that a) they do and b) they don't fit the back of a TVR S3.

I can see that they may fit a V8S as these have a wider track and hence more room between tyre and trailing arm, but will a 7.5 x 16 wheel with 225/50/16 tyres fit on my S3 with out using spacers etc...?

I don't think so.

S wheels are 7" wide and et25, chim rears are I think et35. The inside edge of a 7.5" et35 wheel will be about 16.4mm further in. When I discovered someone had previously fitted an S3 trailing arm to my V8 the wheel I was trying to put on there with 7mm (what I had in the garage) of spacers would have been 15.7mm further in (8" wheel, et30) and was still touching the trailing arm.

The sort of size spacer you'd need to make that clear (about 5mm I reckon) is probably a bit big for a shim and too small for a spacer.

hello please confirm 16x7.5 with 225 50 16 tyres ? If not what are you running on the back?

Also (sorry) do you know the offset on the back is it ET35?

I have chim wheels all round on my S2. They have an alloy spacer about 12mm and a slim steel spacer. fitted to each wheel.

What size though? It's common to use four Chim/Griff front wheels since they are the same size as the S series originals. It's when you try putting the bigger Chim/Griff rear wheels on that the potential problems start.
