Craig Pollock is to head up a new F1 engine supplier

Anyone know anything about it?

'PURE' engines would surely complete the set.

Interesting there is a link to Mecachrome - Flavio ran them didn't he? Can't remember if he owned it or whether Renault were the ultimate owner.

The Mecachrome bit is interesting, as things stand there is only Renault and PURE attracted to running these engines in 2013. http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/91625

So that JT can get his way, teams will have the choice of a Renault, or Renault sub-contractor engine, or running an uncompetitive normally aspirated engine i.e. current supplier, probably with a restrictor.

I can see that green issues, perhaps, have a place in endurance racing, but if the aim is to reduce green house gasses in F1, then just do one less fly-away race.
