Dropped my car off today for a new roof and back section in Sheffield but after a short chat i went for the seats to be re trimmed, could not refuse at that price !A nice lady owner gave me the contact number at Chatsworth and her car looked spot on. Will post the pictures at the weekend ..He hand makes the carpet sets, seat covers and roof to fit and does alot of work for the TVR specialists in tha area.. .Im going for a new carpet next year..

Sounds interesting, certainly to understand cost vs craftmanship levels
Cheers and hope it comes out smashing

Make that 5!

Pics please.

Also, have you decided to go for the smaller rear window (I think Ralphy did this, though I cannot be sure) which enables the roof to fold very flat?

Cheers

Seen the work ar Chatsworth, mohair roof, real wool carpets and nice leather seats. If you want to spend 4k at DC trimmers it up to you but personally i don`t think its worth it.These guys do work for the TVR specialists so they must be good. One chap there did mention what a job it is to take the door cards off laughing about cutting his arms so they have done it all before..They charge realistic prices to earn a living not Hollywood prices. They have been in the game for years.i like them and will go for the carpets next year.Everything is made from scratch they are true Proffesionals..

Hi folks,

I'm interested in the small window option and would like to see a picture if anyone has one. Has anybody done a zip out rear window like the old MX5? I have seen various remedies for protecting the rear window when down including towels and a section of foam pipe insulation......

There is a need here, trimers of the UK explore!

Picking the car up tomorrow ,£450 for the targa top and roof section £500 for the seats all hand made from scratch..Im taking it back for a new carpet set in wool and while the centre consul and door cards are off a specialist is comming in to rub down the arm rests and centre consul fill any dints and scrapes then re paint and laquar. much cheaper option rather than re trimming every thing which is very labour intensive and costs a fortune..This will refresh the interior to a good standard as it was looking very shabby..The 340BHP monster deserves a decent interior laugh pictures on the way..

Very nice job, bet you're pleased. Sounds like you're going to end up with a completely new interior though!

Looks like they make a lovely job of that.

Questions on the seats ...

Did they completely recover the seats?

If so, did they use leather all round?

Did they replace the padding?
