Any ideas? It has peeled up with the sun and looks like I need to take off the metal plate underneath, glue and then re attach. I'm guessing the plate holds it down but cant work out how to remove it.

All ideas welcome. Oh and I am a putz at fixing things so please keep it simple confused

Hi Paul

The pad is black mate. So the pad doesn't tuck under that metal plate then, it is just glued down?

Loving your car BTW.

I Think somebody has botched mine as i have 5 plastic screws and the leather doesnt stretch over the plate. I will get it recovered properly.

its a standard fault, mine did the same when left in the sun, the leather shrinks, its better to recover in fake leather, much better resistance to shrinkage.
