I re-carpeted my 400 last year. I got D&C trim to supply the same carpet make that TVR originally used, but in a different colour. I removed the old carpets, and sent them to Blackpool for use as templates. This was not a perfect solution as A) my carpets were non-original, and not good quality / fitting and B) the variation across cars means that any template will only be a starting point. To be fair to D&C, what they supplied was very good, all properly bound edges where required. We only had to undo this edging on 2/3 pieces to trim the carpet, but you do need access to a decent sewing machine. There are some quite tricky sections to glue as well, e.g. the transmission tunnel and the outer footwells. Because they are so long, I had to glue in stages, but it tured out fine. I did also fit underlay, which made the job much longer. Happy to post some pics if wanted. Cost of the carpet was about £500, plus underlay plus glue.

Just about to start on my 400 - the carpet has disintegrated due to water so I don't even have a pattern to start with. Going to be fun fun fun

D&C did mine in October last year, just short of £600. I've been meaning to take some pictures so I'll do do later and post. They did a great job!

OK, took some pics before and after:-

After

Leather was in good condition although I do now clean and feed it regularly as advised by an upholsterer who came to talk to me a the Piece Hall meeting last year.

Well pleased with the results smile

£600 for D&C to re-carpet, Veneers from HOTTY were (I think) £60 and then £10 worth of leather cleaner and feed. As I mentioned, fortunately the leather was in good condition so haven't needed to do that yet.

I know D&C said something like £700 to re do the seats in new leather IIRC.

Hope this helps. Cheers David

Looks very plush..Keeping the leather clean, fed and conditioned will make it last a lot longer and stop it from scratching and splitting so easy..
