filming/recording in tunnel - cancelling wind noise?

as above really.

went on a good tunnel run over the weekend and the guys doing some filming managed to get good images but the sound is terrible i.e the wind noise is incredible.

is there a bit of kit that can reduce the wind noise and just capture the car noises?

No apologies necessary. I must admit I set you up a bit on that one without explaining with the knowledge it sounds so silly to be a glib answer.

In short though, that will do the job, like night and day.

The only caveat might be is if you are putting the mic outside a car and doing speed with the wind directly into the mic.

I'm pretty sure not even the Dead Cat will shield all of that. I would recommend some kind of hard shield to deflect the wind around the mic, and the mic pointing back if you want to do that.
