What is the current Merc C Class like?

Just considering one to trundle around the motorway network.

Never had a Merc and I'm aware they had an iffy patch re build quality, but they are now on the up?

A C63 is not an option unfortunately, but petrol / auto is preferrerd.

Looking at cars less than 2 years old.
