I had insomnia was bored last night so was killing time surfing the net on my phone. I know that in a few months I'll be getting a phone call asking what colour I want for my company car (They gave me a rental Golf in the meantime) which will be an Astra Estate, so I went on the Vauxhall website and had a look at the different paints they offered. I hate silver cars and there were lots of variations on silver/white/grey so I ignored those and was left with Red, Baby blue, black and a really dark green called "myth green" I couldn't find any decent pictures so I go look at something else, then get some sleep.

Today I'm having a quiet moment at work and go looking for pictures of myth green astras so I can see if it looks any good, then find a thread listing the paint codes that Vauxhall use. I notice that the "myth green" paint is listed as GAY. I thought "Either someone at Vauxhall is having a laugh or the the thread poster is." Then I saw more things in the codes...

Red is GBH
White is GAZ (think "Essex boy")

Is this right or is this a pisstake? If its a pisstake then why is it that really dark green, which seems to look OK, is considered GAY when that stupid pearlescent baby blue that they call "waterworld" isn't?

Pannacotta is probably just as bad. I'm falling asleep just thinking about a car that colour.
