Good restaurant for saturday lunch in Bath
Discussion
Hello
I'm going to Bath for a late afternoon wedding on saturday and its also my wifes birthday. I was hoping to take her out for lunch somewhere nice before the doo. Currently booked in to the olive tree but after reading some reviews saying that it is pretty unspectacular i'm thinking of changing the booking.
Does anyone have any recommendations? looking for somewhere that does something a bit special. we are both foodies and like to try new and interesting foods.
Thanks
Pete

Heard good things about the Hudson Bar&Grill although never been myself.
Firehouse Rotisserie is good, but probably not 'special' enough.
Hudson Bar and Grill is very nice. But for a lunchtime I'd go with the Bathwick Boatman. I've not been for a few years (ten, actually) but it's in a lovely situation, and you can go punting afterwards. Firehouse Rotisserie is good, but probably not 'special' enough.
