So who has a 2+2 then? I’ve never seen one in the plastic but realistically can you get a kid in the back?

We’ve just had our first bairn a couple of months ago and I am having doubts about keeping the FHC. I bought that car so me and the other half could go places at the weekend in a bit of a fun car but now squirt is here there is going to be no chance of that.

So I’m not sure what to do. I must admit I like the series one style of the FHC better then the series two, but if it has four seats then that’s quite a bonus. I don't thing she'd let me put the kid in the boot... wink

I do!!

And unless your kids are midgets with their legs cut off youve got no chance, the reason I bought it was exactly the reason you stated!!
I should have bought a cerb!

Also, the 2+2 was only made in the S2 body!

Ill be at the BBWF ( without kids ) so you can have a look around!

Hmm, I had a feeling someone might say that. I can't afford a Cerbera but I could get a good one of these. Free road tax too!

Sorry if this offends anyone redcard

I had a 2+2 and had rear harnesses fitted
It carried my lad for some years from baby seat to infant,
until his legs grew too long.

If you decide to go the Scimitar route you won't regret it. I've owned mine for 18 years and still love driving it almost as much as the TVR. You can even get adults in the back as long as the driver and front seat passenger doesn't have long legs.

I managed to avoid trying to fit kids in the back of the +2 when I had one. I can tell you the dog fitted reasonably. More of an issue could be the lack of boot space compared to the 2 seater. The fuel tanks being moved to over the axle, creating the seat back, leaving a short deep well behind it, which the spare wheel take a fair chunk of.

I have considered an Excel but there's something not quite right about the styling for me. The Blue one does look good though and in the right neck of the woods for me.

I need to get my Tasmin going before I can make any changes though. Mind you once it's going again I'll probably want to keep it!

Anyone got any interior photo's of a 2+2? I don't suppose they've got seat belts in them have they?
