Snetterton 1 June - The Racing Line
Discussion
Anyone else going to this trackday? I was hoping to get on track after being out of the country for a while but the CSL is a little sick at the moment.
This seemed like a good link...

I'm hoping the horrified treeman will be okay this time!

You have to love a track day organiser who gives you a laugh too!

It was looking like John George's team manager saying "not again!" This seemed like a good link...

Gizza kiss, John

Hehehehe, what a great track day, I'm not sure I was ever on the track with more than 6 or 7 cars max at any time.
Weather was amazing and the new 300 track very interesting with a fairly complex new in-field, and some really great cars out today. The 911s made some great noises and that white German-registered one had pace and a half.
Everyone was very polite on track too, no nutters for the first time in a long time...
Shame the Cortina blew a fuse, that made a wondnerous noise and the Anglia too.
Full marks to the Racing Line - made for a very friendly and relaxed day - just wondering how the RL Radical got to win the Toyos
Superb day!

Superb day!
Echoing the thoughts above, really enjoyed the day with the Racing Line team. Nice to see a TDO come out to the participants; setting up camp in a garage and being very visible and available all day.
Pros and cons of having so few fellow trackdayers; it certainly gave my son ample opportunity and 'space' to practice and improve his skills, though it is nice when there are a few more cars around torace/chase/outrun/see going about their high-speed business.
Good to meet PHer nsa too; lovely car which certainly wasn't what I was expecting when looking out for 'black 924'!
As for the participant who shared a garage with the organisers winning the Toyos... I'm saying nothing
Many thanks to Angus and the team; I'll certainly be putting my trackday dollars their way again

You lot ought to be script writers for Oliver Stone!

The Radical Driver (Paul) is nothing to do with The Racing Line, other than he is one of our students in our performance improvement programme and as such needed to be near Phil for instruction / mentorship, hence his position in the pit box next to ours. His was car number 27 and that was the ticket picked out independently in the Tyrrells diner. As you note, there are no Toyo fitments for a Radical. I wish it was the Anglia or Cortina that won, as the tyres are considerably cheaper for us for those than the monster tyres needed for Paul's road car.. 997 turbo. HOW BIG?!!!
Glad you all had a good day
Looking forward to the next one.
Angus
