Yes most of the big supermarkets will do.

In answer to your next question, no they are not.

Why would you go to Tesco for wiper blades? I wouldn't go to PC World for bread.

I's rather buy a computer from Tesco than the purple shirted knob jockey shop. I guess you wouldn't buy fuel from Tesco either?

The last time I bought wiper blades I got them from Halfords after looking round a couple of other shops. they were about £15/£20 or so for 2 of the universal ones that you have to fit in a plastic runner and clip into the metal bit ect. then I went to Tescos afterwards and saw some for £3 each including the metal bit!!! frown

I assumed he meant the superstore tesco rather than a Tesco Metro - i.e. a store big enough to have a car section with oil and so on....

There's a big Tesco superstore near me, they have a car section but I don't recall seeing wiper blades. I think it's just a whole aisle of sponges and air freshners.

It's a fair point, since filling stations don't seem to sell them any more.

I needed one during a late night journey up the A1 and none of the filling stations had them. Ten thousand items of useless crap, not a problem, but a basic motoring consumable at a motoring halt, no chance.
