My leg hurts...

Now I am not one for normally posting this kind of stuff, either you need a Doctor or you don't but I am genuinely unsure about this one.
I had a cycling accident 10 days ago, nothing major, but hit a car and went over the bonnet. Very painful right leg (no other injuries) hobbled about for a couple of days, large bruise on my mid thigh (outer side)
Ten days on, bruise is subsiding, but some smaller painful bruises are apparent on my knee, and my knee has gone quite a few shades darker than usual.
I am experiencing quite a lot of pain, if I rest my leg, the first few moments of moving it again are very painful, with what feels like blood flow returning to my muscles (kind of like pins and needles) my whole upper thigh muscle also feels like a mild case of Delayed onset muscle soreness, the kind I normally get after a long or challenging run.
MTFU and wait another week, or hie thee to a quackery ?

This. I had a pulmonary embolism nearly kill (twice no less) me after it went travelling from my leg to my heart after a bike crash, all thanks to what I thought was just some pretty bad bruising! I'm not in anyway suggesting this might be what you have nor trying to concern you unduly - it's likely as Bill says, to be deep bruising - but it's always worth getting checked if it's still painful. Get to the docs and see what they say chap.need

Hmm, but this is day 12 since the actual impact, so I am taking a wild guess I am not going to die from a bruise.I'd be looking for a doctor!
appreciate the concern, I suspect I am still leaking a bit of blood. Have decided to wait and see, so if I don't post in a few days time - send flowers.
