Where can I hire a supercar?
Discussion
I was given a Ferrari track experience for my 21st birthday several years ago and I would really like the experience of driving something similar again on the road. The problem with track experiences is that you only get about 3 laps in the car that you really want to drive and have to drive lots of boring stuff first. I have seen a track day experience advertised on Red Letter Days for 3 laps in a 911, Vantage, 360 and Gallardo for about £200 which is better and seems like good value but what I would really love is to have an extended drive in just one car like this on the road. I looked into hiring something flash locally for my wedding last year but it was hideously expensive even for something like a 3-Series Coupe or Audi A5 so I didn't pursue it further.
Are there any reasonably priced supercar hire companies around? I just want to hire something for a weekend or a couple of days to drive around in and enjoy the whole supercar experience. It doesn't have to be anything outlandish like the latest state-of-the-art £200000 Ferrari or Lamborgini but something like a Vantage, Granturismo or an older Ferrari would be awesome. I saw someone in town driving a red 348 the other day and it looked like he was having great fun!

What age are you now? You'll find most companies require you to be 25+. The rate seems to be about £2000/weekend.
You could try a different track/experience day such as Palmersport (http://www.palmersport.com/) you'll get to drive a whole range of super/racecars at a pace you won't believe. They're all track prepped, and the instructors are often directly involved in motorsport and they aren't there to stop you. You're encouraged to drive to your limits.
I did it last year, and can't get enough of it. I'll be back this summer..
