Extra Immobilisation suggestions

Had considered that but wondered whether it might affect the alarm or immobiliser operation?
As I understand it, the immobiliser cuts 3 ( I think ) separate systems, one being the ECU. So if you remove the ECU I don't think it will affect the alarm/immobiliser. But as long as the alarm does not go off, then without the ECU it wont start.Taking the plugs would would be easiest. If someone tried to steal it and it would not start they'd hardly be likely to try and work out why it would not start, and they would hardly return armed with 6 new spark plugs !!!
Take the wheels off and store them in the garage / house and put a car cover over it. It then means that any theif would need to come armed with the following to even think about getting it moving:
Jack
Wheels
Wheel Nuts
Somehting to do the nuts up with.
Just and idea, but something that i have seen done and would be very easy to to yourslef.
Chris.

Yes, except now your expensive AP calipers can be stolen in the night and fit perfectly on any sierra or escort cosworth along with the discs that no longer have the protection of your locking wheel nuts and a ton of car Jack

Adrian's suggestion is the best visible deterrent, or just buy a couple of chains (covered) and padlocks. Fit them to diagonally opposite wheels so they're seen from either side and 1 axle can't be lifted and it dragged away (not likely on a very low car like the Noble anyway).
