Correct, Lee Noble is not a faultless human, he is not a God. He's mortal, just as we all are. In some areas he's brilliant and some he's not.
Oh and if he's so bad about safety recalls then who else would you point a finger at .... Toyota? (didn't they have a throttle pedal issue)
Go one then oh brave one, put up on facebook that Toyota are a bunch of c***s.
Oh perhaps you won't because Toyota are not an individual down on his luck and who's not got mega millions of legal backup and a global prescence.
Raking over this old ground 10 years later adds nothing and detracts from his undoubted acheivments.

Phil Bennet, has a huge chip when it comes to Nobles, but he is right about the attitude to safety and recalls/retrofits, I had a front upper ball joint block fail, Lee stood two feet from me and said he knew nothing about it, It turned out that dealers had been complaining to him personally about it for months, this fault was lethal. I still believe that every car should be formally checked and a record kept. Only MY opinion of course but, low volume high performance affordable car. Who would expect anything else? Don't remember seeing any airbags or side impact protection... er.. crumple zones? Nope. It goes with the territory. Why do you want a fast car? To make you feel safe? I got one because is exciting and that excitement is what all adrenalin sports is about..... am I about to die?!!!
You could always spend lots more and cook yourself in a 458!

At the first service I had at a main dealer they replaced the ball joint blocks. They said they knew that they were likely to fail so they always checked them. The one I saw that came of my car had a bloody great crack in it.bernhund said:

There is a massive difference between airbags/side bars/crumple zones etc and things that break or fail, and you simply can't draw a comparison between the two. snuffy said:

why now if he had these such concerns that someone could be killed why not say all this years ago and make a stand sounds like he is just trying to discredit mr noble imo also wouldnt surprise me if all this was to stop him getting a new car to the market because if he did i think the m600 would be in doubt due to the 200k+price tag as if the truth told lee does no his stuff as if i am right in thinking he has just helped out on the chasis set up of the zagato!
