PORSCHE CLUB CELEBRATES GOLDEN JUBILEE AT SHANE’S CASTLE
This Saturday (4 June) around 250 German performance cars will be gathering at Shane’s Castle near Antrim as the Ireland region of Porsche Club Great Britain celebrates its Golden Jubilee and hosts its annual Charity Open Day and Street Concours.
The fun starts at 9.30am and continues to around 4.30pm with Pamela Ballantine, local broadcaster and motorsport enthusiast, officially opening the show at 11am.
Even bigger than last year, there will be some of the finest Porsche cars from across the UK and Ireland. The Mercedes Owners Club (NI) and Volkswagen GTINI will also be joining in the fun, making it a show of German cars not to be missed.
An auto-village of trade stands will include Agnew Porsche, ecurie25 - the ultimate supercar club, Meguiars - car care products, Nu-Luk Wheels - alloy repair and restoration and lots, lots more.
Entry is just £5 (per car) for a day filled with some very special cars ranging from the ‘just out of the box’ to some early 70’s models, and it’s all for a good cause with proceeds going to Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children.
It will be a day with something for everyone – just bring along a genuine interest and the club will do the rest!
It’s easy to find, from Massereene roundabout follow the signs for Shane’s Castle on the Randalstown Road for just over two miles and the entrance is on the left. From Randalstown roundabout it’s just over a mile with the entrance on the right.
