Cheap and cheerful trolley jack died (Started leaking out hydraulic fluid) tonight with a mates car hoisted up in the air - thankfully on axle stands as well so no damage done.

However, I now need a new one...

- Looking to spend circa £50 (Will spend a bit more if there's a better option just outside budget)
- Low profile would be preferable but not a definite necessity (No 4x4 ones though please!)
- Not fussed about aluminium or steel - will live in the garage so weight a non-issue
- Most importantly, available with reasonable next day delivery or from anywhere around Blackpool as it's needed this weekend!

Oh, and I forgot to add - doesn't need a large lifting capacity as the few cars that will go on it are ~1000kg or less.

Thanks.

Screwfix or Machine Mart both do them, machine mart will probably have a few, you'll be able to get one in your price range.

Managed to borrow a Sealey one for this weekend, so the rush is off but I could still do with another.

I'm trying to buy a reasonable quality one this time (Old one was a Halfords special) so spending a bit more isn't out of the question for something that will last.

Does anyone have any specific recommendations on models they've used? Are 'Liftmaster' jacks any good?

I bought my dad a 2-tonne Clarke one from Machine Mart that was less than your budget, certainly seems like a decent bit of kit. smile
