GP2 Monaco Quali - Destruction Derby
Discussion
It's a good job i've watched a lot of GP2 before because this would put me off somewhat. The majority of incidents look easily avoidable. As in you can pretty much see whats going to happen seconds in advance. The worrying thing is if they cannot qualify around Monaco without taking each other out how on earth are they going to race around there?!
Problem appears to be very slow cars, being caught by cars on fast laps. Around Monaco I think thats pretty dangerous as the fast car is likely to be unsighted, and not have time to do anything about it.
I don't think they'll be deliberately going slow during the race so I wouldn't think we'll see the same problems. Different problems possibly.

Priceless.. I think they should make F1 the support race for the GP2 series. I did have to wait until the end of the clip, to work out if anyone actually qualified or not.

Absolutely, it didn't look easy, but there was a lot of white flags being waved so they should have been able to avoid contact. C of C will have his work cut out! Expecting a few safety cars in the race!

How not to book yourself a place in F1
Quite. I'm sure the F1 team managers will be looking a lot closer at the World Series by Renault based on the current standard of driving in GP2. The only real difference between the two series is that GP2 drivers have more money than WSR drivers - they certainly don't have more talent though.WSBR? Not when you have drivers like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FIftZ1IwThc
WSBR is already a credible alternative to GP2 though. Perhaps F3 Euroseries should get a more serious look-in as well.
