Hello All
Having been out of TVR ownership for over a year, I am now itching to get back with a Tuscan. I am wondering if anyone in the Northants area (I'm in Wellingborough)would be kind enough to meet up and let me have a good look round their car and have a general chat re pros, cons and what to look for when buying etc.. I know I could go to the local meet, but I think it would be better if someone knew prior to meeting exactly what I would like to do. I would rather chat to someone who is not trying to sell their car as I need to get a balanced view.
I hope someone can help and thanks in advance.

I would have been happy to, but you are miles away, so hopefully you will get a local. However, if you are ever in Gloucestershire you can come and look at mine. If you are going to the event at Prescott this weekend then I am just down the road.

Thanks Nick, having seen your profile pic, shame you are not local. Car looks stunning.

I'll get back to putting mine back together. Just bought a decat chip smile

Jobs needed to do

Fit new wishbone
Fit Gaz golds
Fit decat chip and refit ECU
Geo Check.
Valve clearance check
Finish silicone hoses
Fit roof clip frown

Think that is the essentials

They all sound easier than fitting a new door release cable!

I have decided that I will do the one on the other side differently. I will just replace the cable inner. Stainless cable is only a couple of £ per metre and it should be simple with a bit of wd 40 to slide it through. It will need a different handle solution at the end though

Why not call in at Sywell on the 2nd Thurs of the month from about 7.30 and meet up with your local TVR Club several Tuscans usually attend.
