Thanks Jonny, Sarah, Amy et al for a wonderful morning! I've been wanting to drive the GP for years but the opportunity had never presented itself.

Shame Chris and I had to leave early but I really enjoyed your event.

Add the fact Donington ended up dry for us later and all told, yesterday was the most fun I've had in ages!

Good work chaps.

Always a pleasure to read a post saying I had a great day and thanking a TDO for a job well done. Good For You & Good On Bat.

There were several 'nasty' Rads there and grapevine has it that they weren't?

Perhaps one less? (they were sweeping one up from the pit wall as we left (halfway down? Most odd!)

On the whole, my driving standards were exemplary, as always.

Actually, thinking about it I saw nothing of concern, everyone was behaving despite the ratio of racecars.

Being in one of the few road cars there (White EVO X) I was being extra nice and but still had a Radical tuck in behind me for a corner despite braking early and inviting it through.

Although I'd rather JL didn't make up rules as he went along, I think it actually worked well from a participant's pov. The rule in question was one spin/stoppage from a race car and you're out. Certainly the officials were removing the wristbands of people going off.

I thought that the slower cars were pretty excellent at letting the race cars past and I hope they didn't get fed up with it.

If JL's around perhaps he could tell us what it was like from his pov. I understand there were a few "discussions" had during the day, but I thought it all worked well.

360 Racing went home after their car had an off. Not sure if that was because the car was too badly damaged to put back together or whether it was the one strike rule in action.

Anyway for me very enjoyable. Thanks to all the people who made space for me!
