The story doesn't seem right to me, he clamped two cop cars with cops sitting in them..were they all asleep or something?

Ironic that she was lunching on the yaught owned by the NCP guy though.

Something smells a bit fishy.

Sounds like the BiB engineered the situation to be able to arrest him, presumably they hate clampers as much as the next man, difference is they can do something about it clap Also got him for not displaying his SIA badge, surprised and disappointed he didn't wind up being done for a bald tyre, defective number plate/lights etc. Hardly the cleverest thing though to rile a plain clothes copper, especially those providing security for the Queen, they can't afford to be inconvenienced by some twunt with a clamp.

True - one the one hand, he's a clamper, and they will clamp anything, even if it has a pulse. On the other hand, the police maybe phucked up and don't want to admit it... So 'We were in the car' came out of their mouths.

I don't know the whole story, so it's just speculation of course...

The way I read this is the clamper clamped the cars, the Police officers showed their Warrant Cards and asked for the cars to be released and the clamper said he would only do that if they could prove they were on duty. So they arrested him for obstructing them in the course of their duty.

Yeah, that was my take on it too. Brilliant though, even if it's not the full story I think it's hilarious.

You have to admit that arresting him was pretty conclusive proof that they were on duty. hehe

Well, I hope that knocks some of the starch out of him.

I've had one run-in with a clamper (when parked on my own private land, where he had no jurisdiction), and can only say if they're all like him, they deserve everything they get.

Vicious bds.

Made my evening reading that!

As I understand it they clamp fast then ask questions extort money later. Add to this the fact that the officers were meant to be inconspicuous in their unmarked vehicles, they were hardly likely to announce at the outset that they were secret security for the queen - if nothing else the bugger would have then marched off to clamp the yacht!
