For those PHers from the Knaphill area, Sainsburys have put in a planning application to turn the lawn mower shop into a 'mini' supermarket. The village doesn't need or want this, if you agree then could you please add a comment to the planning application:

If they don't want or need it, surely it will go out of business in no time, bit self-fulfilling inst it?
Hopefully. The stupid thing is that the village already has a decent sized co-op and a large Sainsburys supermarket about half a mile away, so why they want to open another store there is beyond me. All they will be doing is putting the existing smaller shops at risk and clogging up the high street at delivery times.

Yep from knaphill.

The Pre-application was turned down anyway..

The village needs a makeover to get rid of the 70s concrete buildings. The village is full of takeaways anyway.

Also how many people in a village need a new ride on lawn mower.

You can not Stop progress, just slow it down.

Also what's with the 2 pc shops in knaphill. Both call PC Paramedics just opposite each other.

Lastly th only good thing n the village is Lloydstsb bank. Only 2 minutes from home. Other than thatnthere is nothing I need in the village.

Fuggit then turn Cliftons into a Car Parts and Rod & Custom shop

That might breathe some life into a a village thats full of pizz ed up numpties who
drink themselves into a semi comatose state and generally are a PITA

Takeaway heaven but they are all crap as are the eat in places - yes tried them all before you defend them.....

Most of the "odd" people you see around knaphill are ex brookwood patients. As for the mower shop the Sewards closed down not long after sainsburys opened ...

I lived in Knaphill for 10 years and still own a house on Anchor Hill, If they want to put a Sainsburys on the high street then they have my blessing, the CO-OP is crap.

No other store seems to be able to survive there.
