Next doors damp - advise needed!
Discussion
Location - terrace house
Problem - next door is a rental and there is a damp issue on the back exterior wall (ajoining our house) due to the render and paint flaking off and some plants have rooted themselves into masonary.
The damp i think is now affecting our house. Not very happy as ive just plastered and painted the whole house.
Solution ??
I have been in touch with the letting agent who have said they have informed landlord but nothing has happened for several months?
anyone know where i stand? - at the end of the day my property is being damaged due to nextdoors lack of maintaince.
Any thoughts or advise would be welcomed on how to resolve this? anyone been in a similar situation?

Put your concerns in writing to the owner of the property. Request they take action within a set, but reasonable timescale.
Keep a diary of all correspondance and take regular, dated photographs.
Consider investing in a damp meter. I've got one for work, but they are a handy bit of kit for quantifying dampness. Plot a grid on the wall and take readings. It'll allow you to ascertain if it's getting better / worse / coincides with periods of rainfall etc etc.
