The ideal comfy daily standard, euro roadtrip & track car ?

Realised I just wrote a two page what car question explaining my situation, so deleted it and summed up below.

• 10 Trackdays a year
• Standard
• £12K Budget
• Comfortable
• Practical enough for a two week euro road trip with camping
• 40 mile a day daily driver when its NOT warm and sunny - Motorbike for that.

Will also have an A6 2.7T Quattro & a Honda CB600FAA.

I also thought Cerbera but then dismissed that from stereotyping and the worry that its true (a mate just bought an apparently immaculate one and 6 months into ownership he needs an engine rebuild).

Favourite car I have ever driven or owned was a VX220. However it doesn't fit my new criteria.
