Anyone know where I can get nice homemade cannoli either in Liverpool or Manchester or along the 62 corridor?
Watching the Sopranos has made me want to try some of the stuff

A long time ago there used to be an Italian Deli in cardiff that the owner's grandmother occasionally made a dozen for sale in the shop. You had to be very lucky to get one.

I had a go at making some over Christmas. The filling is easy, but making the pastry cones is much more difficult. You can get metal cones on e-bay to mould the pastry before frying.

ooh I remember that shop it was beautiful- just in the wrong place by the time us students took over the area
