166 can't go over speed bumps!
Discussion
I can't believe how low the front of my new Alfa 166 3.0 Sportronic Lusso is. Scrapes on anything bigger than a stone. All standard. I know the engine is heavy but.........it's not the front but the floor below the engine. Even my TVR rode all bumps with no problems!
Still, it is a beautiful car. :-)

The engine tray often break clips with age and they dip in the middle. The aluminium undertrays are available for the 156/GTV and stop them bottoming out so quickly.
Lots of people simply pull them off, with the only draw back being dirty water entering the engine bay and thus your engine won't stay shiny for as long.
