Spd 6 engine bay

Some paint has peeled off the in the engine bay on my Spd 6. It's not too bad and assume this is due to the extreme heat of the exhausts?
Is it worth repainting as I assume the problem will just re-occur, or are there any other options available?

Any advice appreciated.

Buy the Silver heat reflective fibre glass matting, glue it to the affected area, and make a nice neat job of it.
