knocking sound.....

got a knocking sound at low speed when i take foot off clutch - any ideas?...

engine steady bushes shot maybe? noise is engine rocking and bottom of carb hitting the bulkhead...

And/or engine rocking and the exhaust rattling against the body or sub-frame, especially if the clamp at the bottom of the down pipe is loose or broken.
Or a broken sub-frame mounting.
Or just engine steady rubber bushes.
