A few pics from a family trip to Helsinki back in February - been on flickr for a while but not posted them here before. Went fully kitted up with gear and was surprised to get through airport security with not even a raised eyebrow.

The city's full of interesting architecture that's helped to look its best by great light- surprisingly clear for a capital. Equipment was D300 with primes (20/1.8, 35/2, 50/1.4, 85/1.8) and all behaved brilliantly though battery usage was accelerated by the cold temps.

I like (6) best; it made me stop and look longer at it than the others.

If I switch my brain to 'fussy git' mode it says 'fix the barrel distortion', that's all.
