What oil for my 330ci?

Hi folks, what oil should I use in my 330? Seen all sorts recommended - 0/30, 5/30, 5/40 etc, but don't know which is best. My manual doesnt actually seem to tell me either... TIA

Castrol Edge 5W-30.

Any decent 0w/30 Semi or full depending on change frequency. Long Life only required if you are going to use service indicator to change.

First time I have ever seen anybody recommend Semi-Synthetic oil for a 3.0
Was under the impression it HAS to be Fully-Synthetic

Used to use magnatec in mine with 10k changes. Never had a problem or a gungy engine. Viscosity is the important factor.
