Any of you guys seen the car on fleabay, going by the ad engine out of car so obviously can not be heard running.

Bit suprised by the price started of at £15000 for bids but none, now buy it now at £22000 which i thought it was overpriced starting price at £15000.

Could of been a nice little project and I might of considered it but with not knowing if the engine/box are ok could cost 4-6k to get it going so surely it's only worth 13-14k tops or am i missing something?

To be fair GT03 are worth 22to25 complete and it's had a bit if dosh spent on it , if the engine and box are ok it would not cost much to get it back on the road !!

IF they're ok is the big question, I wouldn't want to spend say 18-20k on it thinking it just needed putting back together only to find a knackered gearbox and an engine that sounds like a bag of nails. Also, did they make a GTO3 in 2002?

From reading it. It seems it just needs manifold n turbo putti g back on. So the question is why doesnt he just put it back together then sell it. Sounds to me there is something else wrong. I'm no mechanic but I can gave that front manifold n turbo back on in about a hour.

Exactly engine removed to change manifold? Granted 22-25k depending on history, but hoping for a bargain, buy even at 15k who would just put it straight back in without overhauling and checking everything.

Anything more than 15k, surely thats an expensive way of getting a noble.

They did produce the GTO3 in 2002, I have one although it was first registered Dec 2002, so maybe only towards the end of 2002 ?

Hilarious ad. He posts in the description that the engine is removed (to replace a cracked manifold - yeah right....) and then adds a rant saying the engine hasn't been removed.

Steer well clear I would.

i read it that the engine ran fine before the turbo and manifold were removed... definatelly poor wording though.

considering running GT03's with no issue have been sold for well under 20k you would have to be really keen on the car to spend that kind of money on it.

He is clearly watching this forum... get the car running or else accept you wont be getting more than 15k!

Looks like he managed to get a bit more for it as apparently it has sold for ₤16k http://offer.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&...

Odd that he didn't fix it before selling though - it's not that hard to fit a new front turbo and manifold. scratchchin
