Long W/E In London with 3 kids in July..recommend me a hotel

Looking for recommendations for good family accommodation in central London for me, the Mrs and our 3 little darlings aged 3 - 10. We will be doing all the usual 'touristy' stuff over a 4 night break and would be looking for something that's 4 star minimum.

Thoughts & recommendations welcomed!

Try laterooms.com. 4* will not be cheap in central London so maybe try something 6 miles out or so and get the train or tube in.

There's a Holiday Inn Express at Wandsworth which is £100 a room and next to Wandsworth Town station, 15 mins from Waterloo. Also a lot of Youngs pubs have very nice rooms for B&B starting around £100 a night.

If money is no object the Charlotte Street Hotel in Charlotte Street W1 is very nice. I can just about afford a couple of drinks in the bar and it has a basement cinema with all the seats made by Ferrari.

Around £800 for the night, 2 adults and 2 kids.
