Santa Pod Raceway is sorry to have to announce this but the racing has been rained off for the day. The Red Arrows are no longer coming either due to very low cloud cover. Hold on to your tickets and stay tuned to www.santapod.com for information on the rain off values, they should be announced tomorrow. Sorry but we hope you enjoyed the racing that we got through on Friday, Saturday and Sunday!

Yep, just got in after 2.5 hour drive home, just knew the rain wouldn't stop ! Oh well, two great days qualifying thoroughly enjoyed. So looking forward to all the match ups today but not to be.

Takes a lot to tear me away but left at 2:30 for the 4 hr drive back figuring if it did get going later it'd be too late for me anyway by the time the track was prepped.
Frustratingly enough was welcomed back North to sunny skies.
Still a truly fantastic event again with so many highlights despite the final 'Nitrous interruptus' from above.
Hats off to the ever improving Santa Pod, the staff and track crews, the teams for making it and everyone involved really.

Now if anyone can help me explain what a good idea it is to bring home one of Urs Erbachers used slicks as a souvenir...

They look good filled with compost/earth and used as a vegetable bed/flower pot... Really gets the neighbours asking if put on the front drive... biggrin
