Is there actually a definative answer for tyre sizes?
Discussion
It appears theres lots and lots of opinion around tyre sizes.
Some running 235/40 front, 245/40 rear or 235/40 front, 255/35 rear or 225/40 front, 255 rear or even 255 all round.
So whats the actual right choice. i have 235/40 front and 245/40 rear. im definately going to get 255/35 rear but cant decide to get 225 or 235 fronts.
Technically 225 would help with regard to tramlining etc.
So as i'm about to get a new set of tyres what shall i actually get?

I went for 255 all round (primarily as black circles had a deal on 4 Toyos last time I swapped)
They are fine, and grip well enough but you do notice a difference in tramlining with the wider fronts. It did save quite a lot of cash at the time.....
I had 235 fronts before this and would say the car felt more planted with the 235s on. (Although I did get the suspension replaced and setup sorted with the 235s )

Think im going to go for 235/40 front and 255/35 rear.
Going to try the new yoko ad08 as i need some grip, though it may just be a false sense of danger right now as the tyres which came on the car are the older design goodyear f1 and must be 3 years old with about 2mm tread on the rears and i believe the rubber has long gone off as lets just say that even though im running it in it will still go sideways with literally no persuasion
