Hi all,

Not been on here much recently. My Dad (Doorman) usually keeps me abreast of goings on! spin

Anyway, thought it about time I share a few photos of my new car. I've wanted one for about the last 8 years but not been in the right position until now. It's a Twin Turbo 6 speed import model and has been in the UK since it was just under a year old and fully maintained by Toyota ever since. Apart from big UK spec brakes and Bilstein suspension she is totally stock. (How long she'll remain like this I don't know!? rolleyes)

I know it's not a patch on some of the metal on here but to say I'm chuffed with it would be an understatement!! Hope to make it along to plenty of meets to put some more faces to names. I'll be at the Pub Club for sure!

Simon.

Nice! Always had a soft spot for the Supra. I'd love it if you didn't go down the big power mod route and concentrated on keeping the old girl clean and standard. Get the metal polish out and get it up to concours standard. I future classic and good investment if its kept A1.

Nice, some subtle mods that are reversible is probably the way forward, like it a lot.

I don't plan on going for big power. It's good to know that I COULD see 700bhp from stock internals if I wanted to or had a big enough wallet.

All I plan on doing though is 'BPU' (basic power upgrades) That should see 400bhp. The wheels will be changed and I might add the OEM option skirts but apart from that, none of the silly Veilside kits. And yes, it WILL be cleaned within an inch of it's life! rolleyes

Looks lovely - you don't often see them in a) original condition, and b) so clean and tidy and generally well looked-after.

Very nice Si, there is a blue one near me in Southsea and it always turns my head when I see it. They have aged so well. Good choice.

Thanks Jim. I've seen that blue one. It's not a standard colour though but still looks (and sounds!) lovely.

Thanks for all the nice comments. It's much appreciated.

Mine isn't a UK car, but you're quite right, many were auto which baffles me. Still, the auto boxes are supposed to be very good as far as autos go.

If anyone sees me out and about, do give me a flash! I'll put my PH smiley on the back when I've detailed it so you'll know it's me! (if you're behind me that is! smile )

Agreed very nice - was a toss up between Supra TT and Cupra.................. cupra won for every day use (for now!)

I LOVE the Aero, but want it in a TT manual, I think this will be a project car one day smile

Be good to see you at the next pub run.
