The next round of the TVR Challenge Cup is on next sunday 30th May (Bank Holiday Weekend).

Come and support the Griffs against all comers including Jim Baynham multiple HSCC Champion in his TVR Tuscan.

At Cadwell the TMS Griff just pipped the Bedlington Griff, but we hope to turn the tables at Snetterton.

With help from ACT and Mark Adams, we should have one or two more horses under the engine cover for the revett straight this time.

There should also be plenty of stiff competition from the Turbos as well, since Snet is more suited to their cars than a wet cadwell was.

If you dont want to come and watch, why not enter? No one should be surprised to see that a standard(ish) Griff 500 is the most competitive car on the grid.

The series is designed to restrict development so that a virtual road car will be competitive. We have data loggers to police the power outputs of all the cars. A standard 5 litre should not require modification to be at max power - Mine is only a 4.6 hence the help from ACT and Mark Adams.

You will need a cage, but Noel at V8 Sports & Classics can help there.

Apart from some control tyres, and a fire extinguisher, thats it - you need a license, a helmet and some overalls.

Look forward to seeing these in action, surely the best looking racing cars around, i think Simons orange car really looks the part, all the best for the remainder of the season.

Thanks Tim. When you come to watch, make sure you let us know so that we can reserve space to park your Griff.

If anyone else is coming, you are all most welcome to come and see us in the paddock. We always set up a bit of a TVR village in the paddock, by banishing as many non-TVRs and trailers as possible.

Where there is room though, we would always welcome you to come and park your TVRs with us, if you want.

Let us know, and we will reserve space accordingly.

For Snett, we will be right outside the restaurant? so we should be getting plenty of traffic past us - and plenty of bacon, hamburger and chips aromas.

Cant wait!

Take a look at:

www.tvr-car-club.co.uk/competition.asp

www.tvrcc-challenge.com

www.barc.net/timetables/dtt200412.htm

There is also a Forum here on PH under Motorsport called TVRCC Challenge Cup.

It would be great to see you if you can make it.

Great - might well bring the Griff down - when and where (I do know it's Sunday and Monday at Snetterton now!)

Would be nice to see a calendar for the season , i think there would be lots of support from the Griffith owners.
I'm busy moving this summer, but i will be quite near to Brands so hope to make it there at least.

Thats no fire breathing Griff! You should see Simon (wont say his PH username) Black 4.3 Pre-Cat, that spits flames. Out of both pipes too
